And Into Stillness.
Life moves fast. Your nervous system carries the weight of responsibilities, conversations, screens, and constant stimulation.
But beneath all of that… your body still remembers how to slow down.
Our workshops at Phoenix Rising Retreats are an invitation to pause, breathe, and reconnect with yourself through powerful yet gentle practices that calm the nervous system and awaken natural energy.
Held inside our peaceful forest studio in North Kawartha, these small gatherings create space to relax, reset, and experience the restorative power of breath, meditation, and sound.
No previous meditation, breathwork, or sound healing experience is required.
Just come as you are.

Each workshop is intentionally organic and responsive to the energy of the group.
Rather than following a rigid script, we guide a flow of practices designed to help participants settle, open, and reconnect with themselves.
Each experience may include a blend of:
• guided breathwork practices
• meditation and grounding exercises
• gentle energy and chakra awareness
• sacred sound journey or sound bath
• quiet integration and reflection

Some gatherings may be more calming and meditative. Others may include deeper breathwork or energy practices.
Every experience is unique… but the intention is always the same:
To create a space where you can slow down, release tension, and reconnect with yourself.

Sound has a powerful ability to guide the body into deep relaxation.
During many of our gatherings, we include a Sacred Sound Journey,
where participants rest comfortably while immersed in healing frequencies created by singing bowls and other resonant instruments.
The vibrations help quiet the mind and bring the nervous system into a calm, restorative state.
Many people describe sound journeys as deeply peaceful, grounding, and surprisingly powerful.

These workshops are intentionally kept small and personal.
Maximum 10 participants.
This allows the space to remain supportive, calm, and welcoming for everyone present.
You are welcome to attend on your own or with a partner or friend.
Couples often enjoy sharing this experience together.

If you have a medical condition that may affect your participation in breathwork practices, please consult your healthcare provider before attending.

This is a relaxed and welcoming experience.
You’ll be guided through a gentle flow of practices designed to help your body settle and your mind slow down.
There is no pressure to share or perform,
and you are always welcome to participate at your own pace.
Most of the workshop is spent comfortably resting on yoga mats with blankets and bolsters while being guided through breathwork, meditation, and sound.
Many participants leave feeling calmer, clearer, and deeply relaxed.
This workshop focuses on breathwork, meditation, and sound practices.
While Phoenix Rising Retreats also offers deeper work around relationships and sacred intimacy through our retreats, those elements are not part of this particular event.
